This could be an indicator of the presence of an earwax blockage in your ears. In fact, regardless of your age, it is possible to develop an earwax blockage. This can be due to several factors such as using cotton swabs to clean the ears, a narrow ear canal, enlargement of the ceruminous glands, or even the simple use of noise-cancelling earplugs, headphones, or hearing aids.
At Clinique NIOS, we are able to assess your ears to confirm whether it is indeed an earwax blockage. If that is the case, we can proceed with ear cleaning to resolve the issue.
Furthermore, with our state-of-the-art equipment, we offer you the opportunity to view the inside of your ear canal before and after the cleaning, in order to raise your awareness of the importance of this care.
Before the appointment
To facilitate the cleaning of your ears, we ask that you apply one of these solutions in both ears at least 3 to 4 days or more before your appointment date.
The more frequently you apply it, the more effective the cleaning will be, as this solution will help soften the earwax blockage and make it easier to remove.

3 to 4 drops in each ear – morning and evening

Keep your head tilted for 5 minutes on each side

Do not apply cotton

Do this 3 to 4 days before the appointment
½ teaspoon of baking soda + 60 ml of warm water (previously boiled for 5 minutes)
